It is our intention to offer a variety of products for sale, including organic remedies and benefical insects, in addition to books. For the present, however, we only list books.

This book, What’s Wrong With My Plant? (And How Do I Fix It?), by David Deardorff and Kathryn Wadsworth, has been described by reviewers as innovative, ingenious, and informative. We wrote it to help people bring ailing plants back into good health. It has proven extremely useful for beginning gardeners and master gardeners alike in all regions of the country.

The topic covered by The New Low-Maintenance Garden, by Valerie Easton, is an old favorite of ours and I’m glad to see a brand new book on a great subject. Easton offers valuable expertise for creating easy-to-care-for, sustainable, outdoor spaces.

The American Meadow Garden: Creating a Natural Alternative to the Traditional Lawn, by Saxon Holt, is a book very near and dear to our hearts. We’ve planted meadows of native grasses and wildflowers in the desert southwest that are very successful and avoid the high cost of watering a lawn. This new book on the subject deserves a very wide audience.

The Truth About Garden Remedies, by Jeff Gillman, is an excellent little book. Very helpful to sort out what works and what does not work to help you grow better, healthier plants.

The Truth About Organic Gardening, also by Jeff Gillman, is a companion to the one above. It examines the merits of organic gardening practices and helps you sort out the most helpful tactics from the less than helpful ones.
